Well they just posted the flight info for the guys to come home. Dont know which flight David will be on yet, but at least we know a few possible dates. They are on the 7th at 6:30 pm, 8th at noon, and the 9th at 2:00 pm. I should know in the next day or two which flight he will be on. Its nice to know something now, makes it seem that much closer!
Well I need to go finish baking and get us all ready for tonight! Happy New Year!

Flight info

Still dont know anything
We still dont have an exact date of when David will be home. He is getting frustrated cause they have told him nothing, and the first flight out of Iraq leaves tomorrow. Hopefully anyday now we will know something. All we know right now, is it will be next week sometime. As soon as I hear something I will post another blog.
My wonderful husband got me a cricut. I was telling him about it a few days ago, and he was seeming very uninterested. So yesterday he told me there was one on its way here! Im so excited to get it! There is so much you can do with them.
So apparently our cable company is in negotiations with a few of its channels, and if they dont agree on a deal by midnight these channels will not be available anymore. They include Noggin and Nickolodeon! Two favorites in our house. If they arent able watch them anymore I am going to have to go get some Dora and Backyardigans DVDs. Those are thier favorites. I hope that in the morning they are still on there!
tonight we are going over to my friend Jessicas house. We still need to finish those banners! lol And then we are going to be playing games the rest of the night I think. Im taking the girls pjs and blankets just in case they fall asleep before midnight, but knowing my girls, they wont! Thats ok, I will let them stay up tonight. Im sure they will crash as soon as I get them in the car though! I will post some pics tomorrow sometime, after I wake up enough to actually do anything!
Hope everyone has a great New Years!

Almost there!
Well as of today we have 10 days to go until David is here. I think I have just now allowed myself to be excited! The waiting is always the hard part, but now I can start to get things ready for him coming home. Next week I will be grocery shopping for four again! Wish me luck, its been awhile! lol That should be a fun day, Im sure I will come home with all the things he likes and forget the things we need! lol Im starting now to kinda let the girls know Daddy will be home very soon. Constance understand how many days there is. Ivy has no idea, but Ive told her Daddy is coming home to play with her. Constance keeps saying that Daddy is coming from the North Pole and is going to bring her a present. So he is going to try to pick something up in Kuwait after he gets there. She also informed me this morning that after her Daddy gets home the two of them are getting married! She has big plans, and if she thinks marrying him will get him to stay home more, then she has another thing coming! lol No, hopefully this will be the last time at least for a while that he has to go back. Only the future will tell that. He will be leaving Iraq on the 4th and getting to Kuwait the same day. After that it just depends on how soon they can get an airforce flight home. He should be home anywhere from 12-72 hours after they get to Kuwait. Im opting for the 12 but thats not likely! I will keep everyone informed. We are supposed to know thier flight info 7 days before they get home, so I dont know for sure if that will happen, but hopefully we know something in the next 4-5 days! Its so exciting!
There is a cow on this cartoon the girls are watching named Constance. My constance said mom Im on tv! lol Too cute!

Sergeant Singell!!!
Well David is going to be promoted to Sgt on January 1st! We are so excited about it. Its been a long time coming with the points being so high. He told me when I got online this morning that he got me a Christmas present, and that he was going to go ahead and tell me what it was. I was thinking he ordered something and it would be coming in the mail! lol Then he told me he was getting promoted. Im very proud of him. He has worked very hard for this and been through a hard deployment. Now the next thing is for him to go to school next October, then hopefully we will be moving to Kansas! Much closer to home!

Banners
Last night we went over to a friends house and met some other ladies there and worked on some more banners. We are making a really big one to hang by the road they are taking to get on base from the air port so they can see it before they get to use. We put all our husbands names on it. We arent all the way done with it yet, but its going to be really cool when we get it finished. I think we are planning on finishing it new years eve. We are all going to get together and bring lots of food to eat. Should be a fun night. Ive got the two cutest little girls to kiss that night! Last night was a preview of new years eve as we didnt get home until midnight! You know how women are, once we get together we cant stop talking! So anyways the girls stayed up the whole time and they did perfect. They were so well behaved it was scaring me!
Christmas is only four days away. Im excited for it to be here cause that means David is going to be home right around the corner! Around 16 days, we are hoping they will be home on the 6th. Earlier would be better but not counting on that. We are getting to the very end now, and I am oh so glad. Its been a long hard deployment, with a couple scares along the way. Im just glad he is going to be home with us very soon!

The clock is not moving!
So you know times when you are super excited about something and then time seems to sit still? Im there! David should be home in approx. 20-19 days. Im so excited I can hardly stand it, but time seems to have stopped! Im sure for the rest of the world it hasnt, but I wish the first week of January would hurry up and get here! Im trying to keep busy, but there is only so much cleaning I can do! The girls and I did sit down and watch Lion King 1 1/2 last night and they both sat with me and the cat on the couch and watched the whole movie! It was so nice! We may watch another movie tonight just for something to do. Other than that not much is going on here. Saturday we are going over to a friends to finish our banners we started. Other than that though not much else is going on. I am looking forward to Christmas next week. The girls will only open some of thier presents, the rest are to be saved for when daddy gets home! So really they get two Christmases. Im sure they wont mind!
Ive heard Missouri weather is very cold and snowy! Its been cold here, but no snow. Just freezing rain! not fun. The rest of the week and next week is supposed to be warm like 60s and 70s so that will be nice. I wouldnt mind a little snow on Christmas though. Not getting my hopes up!

Im bored!!!
Im bored so I thought I would do a post! Last night the girls and I went out with a friend for her birthday. We went to Olive Garden. It was soooo good, and we had a really great time. We ended up staying for almost two hours, just talking and laughing! It was nice to get out of the house for a bit. The girls were really good so I got them some strawberry shakes! Which Constance calls Ice Cream Shakes. lol Saturday they get to see Santa. I havent told them yet though, I want it to be a surprise. Santa will be at our frg meeting, and there will be food too. After that we will head over to my friends to make banners for when the guys come home. We get to hang them along the fence going into base, so when the come on base on the busses from the airport they will see them. We are thinking of putting the kids hand prints all over them! Only about 32 days til we see him! Other than that, thats all we have been doing.
I am really getting excited about Disney World. Only 87 Days!!! lol I am trying to decide which Character meal we want to do. Im not sure if we should do princess or mickey and gang. Cant decide. I will talk with David about it next time he calls. May be a few days though, they have a black out right now.
I think right now though, the girls and I are going to go sit and write letters to santa! I will take pictures!

35 days!!!!!
Well there is about 35 days til David gets home! This is just a guess, but it will be within a day or two of that. Im getting very excited. Cant wait til he is here and we can get on with being a family again. I made a calander for Constance to cross off the days til her daddy gets home. I actually need to get a picture of this. I will do that tonight. She wrote daddy at the top of it, and she did a really good job. All she needed help with was the Y. She also thinks everyday that we are going to Disney World now. So I made her a calander for that too. That way she can see there are more days to go. She has fun looking at our Disney scrapbooks from past trips, and so do I. She actually went to DisneyLand when she was three months old, but obviously she cant remember that. So Im excited to get to see her really enjoy herself this time, and Ivy too.
Earlier I walked into the livingroom and Constance was pouring water on the Christmas tree. I was like What are you doing!!! She said she wants it to be bigger(we only have a small one up) so she was making it grow. Well at least she knows how things grow! She didnt hurt any ornaments or anything. Just dont think too much water is what our tree needs! lol Kids do the funniest things sometimes!

Our Thanksgiving
Ivy(not sure what that look is all about!)
Posted by Singell Family at 3:32 PM 1 comments
Happy Thanksgiving!!!
I am Thankful for.......
1. All that God has provided for our family, and what is still to come.
2. David, he is the best husband a girl could ask for, most devoted father two little girls could ask for, and best soldier this country could have!
3. Constance, I love watching her grow and learn new things everyday. She is the most inquisitive, imaginative little girl I know, and I love her even more for it!
4. Ivy Jewel, my sweet(most of the time) little baby girl. She is my nurturer, and loves being a mommys girl! I love it too!
5. This country, my husband is putting his life on the line everyday so that we back home can be safe and live our lives without the fear that some countries have to live in.
6. Family, without them getting through this deployment would have been oh so hard. Just wish I could be with everyone for Thanksgiving!
7. Friends, especially the ones who have husbands in Iraq right now too. Together we form a sisterhood, that no one else can quite understand. Its hard, but together we can make it through this.
8. Walmart, what would we do with out it!
9. Pumpkin Pie, whoever invented it is awsome! Love it!
10. Blogging, without it I could never have gotten this out to the world!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!!

New Bedtime
Well our new bedtime was semi-successful. Its going to take a bit of time for her to get used to. She didnt make it til eight last night. We got to about 7:20 and she started having a melt down, which is a sure sign she is ready for bed. I tried to drag out our bed time routine. Drink some milk, Brush teeth, go potty, then get in bed and read a book. Then I had to find the cat, she wont sleep without her now. So she fell asleep a little before eight. Im just going to keep trying to get closer to the eight mark each night.
This morning she woke at six. She wanted a drink and to go potty, so then I layed her back down. She actually went back to sleep for about 45 minutes. So we all ended up waking around 7:20. That is much better compared to five! Hopefully we can get into a good routine that is more consistant.
